Let me start off by saying that if one was around Norfolk on Tuesday, they would certainly be set up for some serious storms. These storms were extreemly active and produced localised flooding. There were also storms in Buckinghamshire with squalls that blew roofs off homes and factories (one of which I was in), and there was obviously the major flooding up North with many homes being destroyed, destroying many people's lives.
Thursday saw storms over southern Scotland (did you get some Gill?) and some localised Cb around Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes.
Next week should hopefully be good, although I am really starting to wonder were has summer gone, so we can't really hope for severe storms many times as the Li and Cape just isn't getting high enough. Bicester (my home town) is set to recieve some nice Cb on Monday afternoon, so we'll just have to wait and see and hope for the best. I'll post some good photos if I get any!
Happy Storms!
YBS

Hi YBC

We had a few thunderstorms, but nothing spectacular and we were lucky if they lasted 30 minute which is a bit boring.

I hope that we do get a really good storm as they all seem to only side swipe us, so hopefully next week we get some good ones wink.gif
