Nice pics,

Looks like you were underneath a decent gust front. Did you get heavy rain after taking the photos?

Frequent and very heavy downpours over Stockport and south Manchester this afternoon with thunder and lightning overhead. One cell produced lightning every few minutes which is no great shakes for a July storm but the intensity of the rain has been notable. My skylight is rattling again.

Got a bit of thunder and c-g lightning over before it got going due to the wind speed and just side swiped as per usual, it has cleared the air a bit and nothing like down south gets.

Would like to get a really good storm as this season has been a total let down sad.gif I think the next good storm we get through the day I am going to go yahoo on it and punch the core to make up for the lack of severity blink.gif laugh.gif Not something I would recommend but I neeeeeeed my fix of being in a severe storms laugh.gif
